The Parish Council of Armação de Pêra informs that more than 20 families are being supported through the distribution of food baskets. Through this referral, we ensure that vulnerable individuals have access to the appropriate services and programs provided by the network's entities.
By referring individuals to the Social Network of the Municipality of Silves, we provide them with more comprehensive and targeted support based on their specific needs. This includes services related to housing, psychosocial support, employment, health, and more.
The collaboration between the Parish Council of Armação de Pêra and the Social Network of the Municipality of Silves aims to ensure that people in vulnerable situations receive the appropriate assistance and have access to the necessary resources to improve their quality of life.
Food Support
The Parish Council of Armação de Pêra provides support to people in vulnerable social situations by offering prepared meals through the Pastoral Center of Pêra.

Combating Social Exclusion of the Elderly
The Flamingo Project, developed by APEXA (Association for the Support of Exceptional People in the Algarve), is expanding its regular activities to the parishes of Armação de Pêra, Pêra, and Alcantarilha. Every two weeks, on Mondays and Wednesdays, the headquarters of these parishes will host the Flamingo Gatherings, offering recreational, leisure, and social activities aimed at promoting greater interaction and social education for all interested participants.
These gatherings provide a valuable opportunity for people to engage in fun and educational activities, promoting inclusion and social development. Registration is completely open and free, and can be made at the parish headquarters, by email at flamingo@apexa.org, or by phone at +351 964 789 185.
